Quality ingredients from certified organic farms

Amway owns and operates four certified organic farms in the U.S., Mexico and Brazil. The plants and botanicals grown on these farms fuel many of Amway’s Nutrilite, Artistry™ and personal care products. Organic farming means no synthetic pesticides or herbicides are allowed. Instead, the farm teams use natural methods to control pests and feed the soil.

Falconry, for example, is used to prevent pest birds in the U.S., and a worm farm in Mexico uses leftover plant material from harvesting and other organic scraps to produce a natural fertilizer for the plants. 

Amway also requires high standards when it sources botanical ingredients from a supplier. Partner farms must be certified under the NutriCert™ program, which requires the operators to be traceable, ecologically sustainable, socially responsible and held to the highest standards.

Traceability and rigorous quality control

Amway’s commitment to traceability is more evidence of the high standards used to develop and manufacture high quality products. When products are traceable, you know exactly where each botanical ingredient comes from and how it travels through the supply chain to arrive at your door.

At Amway, traceability starts with the reason each raw ingredient was chosen, down to the specific seed strain of botanicals, where they were grown and who handled them on their journey to the final product.
