By definition, direct selling means a customer is buying products or services directly from another person – people to people. In this digital age, however, that doesn’t always mean face to face.
The many health and wellbeing products and solutions available from Amway, the number one direct selling company in the world, can be purchased directly from an Amway Independent Business Owner (IBO) – either in person or from their online store – or ordered from the Amway™ website, Amway.com. (Amway products are not sold in stores.)
Amway.com is a modern ecommerce site where customers can order products and IBOs can manage their Amway businesses. When customers already have a relationship with an IBO, they can purchase products online through that IBO’s Amway MyShop, which is their personal Amway eCommerce site.
This allows people to conveniently shop from their phone, tablet or laptop no matter where they are and have their products delivered directly to their home. Larger orders can qualify for free shipping. Customers can even schedule repeat orders online so they never run out of their favorite products. And if people purchase from Amway.com without a previous relationship, they will have the option of connecting with an IBO for future purchases.
Amway has more than 1 million IBOs across the globe, including over 290,000 in the U.S. who will always be happy to work one-on-one with customers to find the Amway products that meet their needs. IBOs have a vested interest in going above and beyond so they can develop a repeat customer base.
Working with an IBO provides personalized, expert service before, during and after the product is sold – that’s what successful business owners do. IBOs are always ready to answer questions, help people understand product benefits, demonstrate how to use products and even assist with product returns.
While searching for Amway products through online shopping, you may have seen some offered on third-party marketplaces such as Amazon®, eBay®* or similar websites. Be warned: These sites are not authorized to sell Amway products and the products they offer could be, among other things, out-of-date, spoiled, altered or even counterfeit.
Only registered Amway IBOs are authorized to sell Amway products to customers and only through in-person sales or online through their Amway MyShop found on Amway.com.
Amway has built its business on the integrity and reputation of its high quality products and IBOs. Unauthorized sellers may appear very professional. However, unless they are a registered IBO selling through approved channels, Amway has not authorized them to sell Amway products or use Amway trademarks, logos or photos.
To ensure the purchase of authentic Amway products that are backed by Amway’s 100% satisfaction guarantee through the Amway Promise, customers should buy them only from authorized IBOs.
