Does the eyeshadow formula contain carmine red? Why is that important?
The eyeshadows are formulated without carmine red. Carmine red is a red pigment that is commonly used in makeup products, but it is derived from insects and is not considered vegan. The Eyeshadow Quad is registered with The Vegan Society.
Does the Eyeshadow Quad come with an applicator?
Yes. It comes with a dual-ended applicator. Use the cushion tip end to lay down beautiful hues and the brush end for a lighter touch and easy blending.
Before the first use, remove the protective film from the mirror.
It’s easy to create a stunning eye look with any palette. Here’s a technique we recommend:
- Start with lighter matte. Apply this shade as a base all over the eyelid, from your lash line to under your brows.
- Follow with the satin shade. Sweep it in the crease and place it at the outer corner of your eye.
- Add some shimmer. Gently press onto the center of the eyelid as a highlighter and dot on the inner corner of your eye.
- Make it smoky. Apply the deeper matte shade along the upper and/or lower lash line for soft definition or over your Artistry Go Vibrant Waterproof Pencil Eyeliner to set and buff.
- Finish with Artistry Go Vibrant Waterproof Length Mascara.
