Are any of the ingredients or technologies in the Correcting Serum exclusive?
Yes. The white chia liposome and white chia protein peptide, part of the Nutrilite™ white chia blend, both originate from white chia seed grown on our own Nutrilite farm in El Petacal, Mexico, as well as a NutriCert™-certified partner farm in Bolivia. These ingredients and their associated skin care technologies are exclusive to Amway.
What testing or laboratory support was conducted?
Clinical, consumer and safety testing has been performed to support safety and efficacy claims to ensure that the products are well tolerated and efficacious and satisfy consumer expectations.
What is the shelf life of the Correcting Serum, and how long can I use it after it has been opened?
The shelf life of the unopened product is three years (36 months). Once the product is opened, we recommend that it be used within 12 months to ensure full product efficacy.
How should the Correcting Serum be stored?
All Artistry Skin Nutrition skin care products should be stored in a cool, dry place, out of direct light.
Why does the serum bottle vary in color?
The Correcting Serum features a unique vignette design that blends the signature colors of the Artistry Skin Nutrition solution set it is formulated to pair best with, in a semi-transparent bottle. This means that as the serum inside is used up, the coloring seen on the outside of the bottle will change. The Correcting Serum features the darker blue/green colors of the Renewing and Firming lines.
What should I do if some serum remains at the bottom of the bottle?
Due to the rich, creamy texture of the Correcting Serum, it’s common for some product to remain on the walls or floor of the bottle at the end of use. Due to this, we’ve overfilled the bottle to ensure that you’re getting a full month’s supply of product. Tapping the bottle to move product closer to the dip tube or rotating the dip tube will help support output. Additionally, the cap may be unscrewed and top removed to access remaining serum.
Is the Correcting Serum packaging recyclable?
Artistry Skin Nutrition Correcting Serum cartons are recyclable* and produced from paper that has been sourced from responsibly managed forests by a supplier that practices sustainable forestry.
*Where appropriate recycling facilities are available; check locally.
Is the Correcting Serum compatible with other Artistry skin care products?
Yes, the serum was created to be aesthetically compatible with other Artistry Skin Nutrition and Artistry products.
Can I use the Correcting Serum and the Defying Serum together?
It is safe to use both, by either combining or alternating as part of your (AM + PM) routine. For best results, we recommend selecting the serum that’s formulated to address your unique skin concerns; however, some consumers may prefer a lighter serum in the morning and richer serum at night.
Can the Correcting Serum be used around the eyes?
When applying the Correcting Serum, avoid the delicate eye area. As with any skin care product, avoid getting Artistry Skin Nutrition formulas directly into the eyes.
If I experience any skin sensation after applying the Correcting Serum, what should I do?
The Correcting Serum has been fully tested for safety. However, every individual’s skin is different. If you experience a skin reaction, stop using the product. Consult your doctor if a rash occurs. Do not use on damaged or broken skin.
Can the Correcting Serum be used during pregnancy?
Safety studies of cosmetics are not conducted on pregnant women. Because skin condition changes in pregnancy, whether to use or not use this product should be discussed by the woman and her physician.
